Sites of Horror

Welcome to another installment of The Black Glove Magazine's "Sites of Horror", a section in which we try to point out websites that we think our fellow Horrorheads will enjoy.

First up, we have the CELLULOID SLAMMER, a great review site that caters to the darkly humorous in all we horror fans. But they don't just pick on horror, they go after anything that feels ripe for the picking, so to speak. You'll find lots of homemade pics and videos, some hilarious essays and reviews. So if you've got a funnybone, this is the site for you. (And, yes, that is that Wassquey Wabbit hanging out of the window up there.)

Another great horror site we love is COOL ASS CINEMA
, where you get the plain truth about new releases and some of the "classics" of the genre. But don't get me wrong, this is run by someone who truly respects the genre. You'll find some rather devotional reviews and some gut wrenching comparisons (check out the new Conan film compare and comparison...YIKES!). You'll also find some awesome interviews with many of the genre's up and coming names in the industry and essays on the genre, and other films of note that might not always fall into the horror box.

And our last pick for this month is BEHIND THE COUCH
, another great site which examines the greatest (and not so great) in horror and other cult classic movies. But as the logo says, beware of spoilers. If you're behind on your classic in and out of the genre, you be careful about reading too much on the site, for fear of ruining any future enjoyment you might get from the films they review. But if you're okay with that, then jump into some of the best reviews and essays on horror and cult films on the web. You'll also find lots of interviews with industry directors, producers, actors and writers. And if that's not enough, then check out the crisp, clean pics...

Well, that's it for this month, but I hope we gave you Horrorheads out there something to think about for another 30 days. Be sure to join us next month when we find a few more Sites of Horror.
